National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

Public safety telecommunicators—commonly known as dispatchers—play a vital role in protecting our community. These highly trained professionals answer emergency calls, dispatch deputies to the scene, and serve as a critical lifeline between our citizens and the help they need.

“Behind every emergency response is a dispatcher working tirelessly to ensure help arrives quickly and safely,” said Sheriff Meyers.

“I would like to thank each of our police dispatchers for their dedication and professionalism in serving the citizens of Garrett County.”
