Please be advised that the Garrett County Department of Public Works Roads Division will be constructing a temporary bypass road where Shallmar Road crosses Wolfden Run. This work is scheduled to begin on April 15, 2024.
The bypass construction is not anticipated to cause road closure, but motorists are advised to expect traffic delays during the construction phase. The temporary bypass road will remain in place throughout the summer months until a new bridge structure is in place.
