Garrett County Emergency Management has issued a MANDATORY EVACUATION due to severe flooding in the following areas: Savage River Road from the Big Run Campground to Westernport Road.
This includes: Wildland Dr, Broadwater Cemetery Rd, and Alice Valley Rd. Rising waters and unsafe conditions make it critical that residents evacuate IMMEDIATELY.
Do not wait until it’s too late. First responders may not be able to reach you once conditions worsen.
What to Do: Leave the area immediately Go to Eastern Garrett VFD, Bloomington VFD, or Deer Park VFD Bring essential belongings such as medications, ID, and emergency supplies.
