Today, we are highlighting our First Shift 911 Specialists:

Bailie Warnick
Bailie has served as a 911 Specialist since 2021 and currently holds the rank of 911 Specialist II. She plays a vital role in call taking, dispatching, and training. Bailie holds national certifications in Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), Emergency Fire Dispatch (EFD), and Emergency Police Dispatch (EPD), and is a certified Maryland Emergency Medical Dispatcher.
In addition to her work in communications, Bailie is also an EMT and is currently pursuing her Paramedic certification—demonstrating her continued commitment to public safety.
Amanda Broadwater
Amanda has been with Garrett County since 2021 and also serves as a 911 Specialist II. As the senior 911 Specialist on shift, Amanda provides leadership through call taking, dispatching, and training of new staff members. She is nationally certified in EMD, EFD, and EPD, and is a certified Maryland Emergency Medical Dispatcher. Amanda’s experience and mentorship are key assets to the team.
Gabriella Powell
Gabriella joined our team in 2025 and currently holds the rank of 911 Specialist. She is actively completing her training process and has already successfully obtained her national certifications in EMD, EFD, and EPD, along with her Maryland Emergency Medical Dispatcher certification. Gabriella represents the next generation of dedicated telecommunicators serving our community.
