Garrett County is accepting public comments on Water & Sewerage Master Plan Amendment No. 6. The proposed amendment supports planning and future improvements associated with:
- Friendsville Water System – water supply and treatment improvement planning
- Gorman Water System – water supply redundancy planning
- Friendsville Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) – evaluation of upgrades/rehabilitation or replacement needs (no expansion of the sewer service area)
Public comments will be accepted through March 15, 2026. Submitted comments may be included in the public record.
